European Forum

The German Professorenforum aims at increasing networking among European Scholars, particularly but not exclusively on the professorial level. We aim to connect academics to enhance learning from each other, sharing best practices, understanding the spiritual situation of their respective countries and of Europe as a whole and help to fulfill the commandment of Jesus “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations” (Math. 28, 19a) on an academic level. As professors and lecturers, we have a specific calling to shape the thinking of our academic generation and to do the intellectual groundwork to offer solid foundations to a continent that more and more loses hold of its supporting ground. Strengthening Europe's Christian Foundations for a better future

30^thof October to 1^st of November 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany

This 1^st European Conference marks the 30^th anniversary of the German Professorenforum. We would like to use this opportunity to exchange the various experiences of bringing Jesus (back) in the academic arena and share our best practices as well as our challenges in our home countries. As academic Christians we have the most solid foundation to lead and shape discussions on topics such as truth, justice and the dignity of being created in the image of God. The conference will include keynote presentations, talks from representatives of various countries of Europe and times in small groups.

We plan the program to start Friday evening around 6 pm with a dinner and around 8 pm with a keynote presentation. The program is planned to end sunday around noon with a farewell luncheon. The detailed program is currently being set up and will be published here in due course. The location will be choosen for easy accessibility by train or plane.
